In my 50’s also. Been drinking for the majority of my life. It’s over now. It’s been 21 days since my last drink, bottle, hangover and I’m just done. Every once in a while a small voice tries to unhinge me but it’s not that strong. It’s weird. I know there’s still a chance of relapse (I have a wedding this weekend) but I feel oddly strong.
