I have been going to meetings for 30 years and I have never run across one which espouses this kind of nonsense.
I wish you the best, but I think that you may want to focus on recovery-oriented efforts and not on recent weed-related developments, particularly if they cause you to second guess your decision to get clean and sober.
FWIW, I had a very hard time not focusing on alcohol and drinking-related things when I first got sober, but it can be done - I'm living proof.
