Talk went fine. I did about 3 minutes and did shake, kind of to my surprise, but it wasn't bad. The audience seemed to enjoy it - at least no one walked out. Which I've been known to do when it really stinks.
Had the big dinner this evening. In years past, it was steak and lobster. This year it was tapas-style at multiple locations. Didn't think much of it, but I've been eating too much anyhow so that works out. Noticed again this evening how adults are just big kids. There were lots of giveaway trinkets and tokens - people were actually crowded around the door from which said tchotchkes were emerging so they could be sure not to miss out. Goofy.
Back in my hotel room and I "should" work, but have somewhere around zero ambition to do so. Another early night for the O-ster.
