Hi Kath. I had a similar issue to you and it got worse when I drank. At one point the bleeding was quite significant, bloated stomach etc. I ended up being diagnosed with diverticulitus. If I pushed on the left side of my stomach low down it hurt when the pressure was released so if you have that feeling maybe mention that to your doctor?
