Magnolia and 2muchpain, I am sorry for you both that you had to go through such a degrading situation. There is no need for anyone to be treated like that and no reason you couldn't be allowed 5 minutes to gather your essentials.
I begged them to just allow me to make sure my dogs had food and water. They refused.
I knew they were going to keep me for the 3 days because I have insurance.
Not surprisingly, many people much more unstable than myself were kicked to the curb because they had none.
I don't even have strength left to get angry or upset. I can't believe I'm living in the United States.
