It was my experience in my recovery that... yes... I was developmentally challenged..
I was stuck at the point that I started using to numb as well...
and ....
I found that as my daughter grew up... I would be dragged face to face with my issues as they came up in her life...
I'm around 20 now.. ;o)
in a 50 year old bod.. lol
it's a growing thing...
and is the body and mind trying to right itself...
or that's my take on it anyway...
