I did one in my early recovery.
Took the car so I could go if I needed to.
I lasted all day till about 7pm when things started getting too boozy and the transition from Merry was turning to something else that my polite conversation couldn’t handle.
That said it was a good wedding with lots of entertainment and I enjoyed the time I spent at it.
I heard the stories next day of the things I’d missed, drink driving was one of them.
Escape plan is essential.
You have a room to take a break if/when you need one.
