I am a touch older than you and I never got married before....I met Nick here. On the 24-hour thread. His username is Goat. Last year I came to the US to meet him (I am an Aussie) and he asked me to marry him.
We had a lot of bumps this year....alcoholism is a scary disease if you are not maintaining it....and that is what happened to us. It was a disaster that almost turned into a tragedy, but we worked hard to get through it.
So now we are very happy and we know how blessed and lucky we are.
So happy you guys were able to get through it. Alcoholism has made me realise thatvnothing worthwhile in life comes easy. And I am surr working through your problems was not easy but you did it. And it was worth it. Also love how you guys met. So cute
