Soulshine--You said you are more on the needing support side of things right now. It is my opinion that ALL of us will always be on that side. Even if we are sober for 40 years we will always be recovering alcoholics because we know that even after years of sobriety just one drink will take us right back down the hole and leave us at the bottom. Just remember that we are also always capable of giving support. A simple "good job" or "thank you for sharing that" is support. Even sharing our struggles counts as support because it reminds us all that we are never alone, regardless of the duration of our sobriety.
