Im in the same boat. 2 kids 3rd will be here next month. Once everybody goes to bed i head to the garage and just get drunk. I have a futon out there so i fall asleep in the garage more often then i should. I am brand new to this so i am just reading everybody's first. Your story was almost spot on to mine
Thing is the weekend is alot of fun. My oldest plays the drums, so Friday nights his buddies come over and jam all night. The younger kids play video games, and all the parents hang in the garage and party it up. Then when everyone leaves I go ahead and make sure all the drinks are empty, or at least try. Get up Saturday and finish off any thing thats left, helps steady the hands.
No shakes to day. Hopefully I hit the bed hard tonight.
If I had a futon, I'd probably never leave.
