That is one of the wiser things I have ever read on SR, and it's something to always keep in mind. I am happy that you didn't actually drink the beer in hand, but concerned that you are walking right up to the edge of the cliff and challenging yourself like that. I feel that if any of us actually pick up again, we will be off in the wild again for quite a while, and that thought helps keep me sober. Best wishes!
