Great post RedAndy, foreign travel can be fraught with danger to the drinker or drug user, especially in countries where the punishments are imposed to make a point to others.

STDragon, my older sis and brother-in-law owned a restaurant until recently and if they wete here they would tell you what a lousy waiter I was. On the occasions that I helped I was directed to operate the coffee bar. At least you didn't drink, even in your dream.
PhoenixJ you are perceptive, my avatar name comes from Jacques Saoutchik who was born in Bessarabia (Belarus/Ukraine) and basically walked to Paris at the end of the 19th century to escape the pogroms so it was his back story as well as the fantastic cars.
