Again, you'd need to speak with a doctor to confirm that as you don't know what the source of problem might be. It could even be anxiety related and not caused by a physical problem at all.

It is reasonable to expect that your health in general should improve after you quit drinking if you've been abusing alcohol - yes. But it's not reasonable to attribute ( or exclude ) any specifics without seeing a medical professional.
