The reason there are so many paths to recovery is because they work - for
some people. You can keep trying to force a square peg down a round hole or you can come up with some other options. Find the right shaped peg. Make the peg yourself. Or get rid of the entire peg / hole mess.
Thanks Micro, nice words, and true. For years I tried various methods and when a particular one didn't work, I just concluded that nothing would - ridiculous (and deep down I knew that).
