You are doing the right thing by having your bags packed and ready to go. I would not worry what his family thinks of you because they are going to be able to see right through him. If they understand anything about alcoholism they are going to know he is going to try and blame everyone but himself. I am so glad you are getting out. I would look into an annulment as well.
