Thing is with me, is that when I think a 'couple' of beers are going to have me mix and talk more easily I finish up dancing in the tossed salad and no-one wants to talk to me.
For me, alcohol does not remove the anxiety, it just just allows for its expression in much more embarrassing ways. Awkward is honest, and I'm convinced that our confidence will improve with greater sobriety.
