From a biological view, you drink because you are addicted.
Knowing that is half the battle.
Booze is not a mysterious elixir.
It is a toxin the alters dopamine production.
Drinking booze causes a short term euphoria. The emotional side of the brain craves that.
Natural dopamine is reduced from drinking...so we want more booze.
It takes a long time for natural dopamine to normalize, this whole time relapse looms.
Once hooked, we will be addicted for life.
