We cant reach for that alcohol or poison
if it is not around us, in the house, not in
reach when we are vunerable and in early
recovery.
For me, even after all these yrs, I am still
just one drink away from being a drunk
or dead and so alcohol is not in my home
when I deal with everyday issues that can
affect me emotionally, mentally, spiritually,
even physically.
It take a daily conscience and maintenence
to know where my heart, mind and soul is
to remain healthy, happy and sober today.
