Number 1 reason today is that I told myself just today actually that I (at least in terms of certain aspects) am in better control of myself than I have ever been in my adult life. Drinking again would jeopardize this and also annul the step-by-step improvements I have done so far this year (which have nothing to do with AA, btw).
