I can relate, as I am going through a period of wishing I hadn't told quite so many people myself. But, as mentioned in the above quote, it doesn't mean that now your dad and his wife have to be involved in
all your efforts to help the person who is still suffering. So they know. At least
what they know is that you're doing something about it and, at 5 years sober (?), I'd say you're doing an awesome job.
