If you wake up in the middle of the night and you see a single bedbug on the middle of your blanket... can you be sure that there couldn't possibly be any others?
But here's the kicker: it doesn't really matter if there were any other bottles, does it? He was hiding alcohol from you because
his alcohol consumption is more important to him than your approval of his actions. Yelling, nagging, hounding, demanding, these things do not motivate a person to want to change. They only cause resentment, especially with how addictions change an individual's sense of motivation and priorities. Calling people out on hiding alcohol just makes people better at hiding alcohol.
