Is intense also, but beautiful written bio about brain surgeon who spend entire life delving into philosophy and poetry and science to help patients come to term with death. Then, after so many years of schooling and intern and resident, right when all sacrifice and effort to come to fruition ...he get his own terminal diagnosis. He lovely writer, I must say. Very poetic.
