I had lots of Day 1s as well, however, this NYE I decided I am going to do what it takes to stick with it this time and I have been sober since January 1st (you will see from the date I joined it took me a while!)
I was determined this time, and I had a plan, and have not allowed myself to become complacent. Finally, Least's words that "You need to want to be sober, more than you want to drink." Have stuck in my brain.
