Interesting Conversation

So i was at a party for my wife's aunt today. She told her cousin that i was about to hit 6 months sober. He came over and told me how amazing he thought that was. He praised me for being able to do it. Then he asked "so when are you going to start drinking again?" I was a bit perplexed by the question. I said "never, that's the idea. That's why I quit!" He looked confused and said "oh, i didnt know if you just wanted to see if you could just go 6 months?" This was crazy to me. Only alcohol, which is so socially accepted, would get a comment and be in a conversation like that. No one goes to someone who quit heroin or coccaine and asks them when they are going to start using again. Hell, even someone who quits smoking isnt asked when they are going to start again. So weird! Lol! Oh well, the journey continues!
