Sober and no friends!!!
It's kinda funny, weird and sad that since I've been sober for 141 days that I have no friends. No-one calls me to hang out, no one comes over and I don't even get text anymore. The crazy part is....I need distance from those relationships and I'm happier without them in my life.
The part that grieves me is knowing how unhappy all of my drinking buddies really are. They're in the same pit of alcoholism I was in but I chose to climb out.
Either way, I'm happily married and have more time with my children now that I'm sober so life is good. Actually, life is great!!!
