The person that wrote this said they themselves went through a 20 month inpatient program.
That was kind of a hope crasher for me to read that. There are people that get sober without having to lose everything to do it, aren't there?[/
I know many people in AA who didn't lose everything to get sober. Some of them still had their home job family car etc .
But I do agree that one needs to change ones attitude towards stress and know what to let go of .
