Up,....not ready to step over that .line ( yet )
I haven't fed any of these fellas roaming around. I'd feel bad going out of town with them wonderin' where dinner is. There's usually at least a dozen active squirrel nests in these live oaks. One year I counted 22 in just one tree !

The wildlife sanctuary across the road has well over 200 species of birds migrating throughout the year. Birders are out there with their high powered lenses from time to time . Until I saw a documentary on a special group of birders whose mission is to capture every specie in a one year time limit. It's like their version of hiking the Appalachian trail ,or something.
* Completionist. *

I'm always wondering about the long and winding road that leads to such a bourgeee passion. Traveling thousands of miles some years to capture images of every last type of bird on the continent. What a hoytee toytee mission.

Probably fun,..... maybe not as exciting as chasing tornadoes,...but equally as useful.
