DD10 was EXTREMELY left out two years ago when a lot of publicity was made of her dads multiple arrests and subsequent firing from a VERY public local job...
I think that her inspiration for this idea stems from having experienced that loneliness herself and having to pretend she was ok when she wasnt...
Maybe your DD10 could propose to create this at her school too Hopeful? I think this ought to be standard at all elementary schools and have half a mind to see if DD10 wants to make it a goal to do so in our state

My DD is 10 and we have been talking about this recess issue lately as she is having a small struggle right now. I love this idea, I love that your daughter did this as her paper, and I love that you have to feel so good about all of this.
