I generally start my Christmas season around Dec. 24 and try to wrap it up on the 26th.
Plan to have a bonfire, usually in the snowy field beside the house, on New Year's eve. Then try to watch movies about Provence or Tuscany until the Spring.

I've found myself reverting to Pie as a drug of choice, as well, Zero. Cherry or blueberry seem to work well.

Congrats on the snowblower, Vet. Do you get much snow in your part of the country? I imagine you having cherry blossoms and green grass when I'm still scraping ice from my windshield in the morning as I return my latest Tuscan DVD to the video rental shop.
