Today is a better day. SIL leg broken in six places, not to mention the ligaments detached. Five hours of surgery to repair. Plates and pins. Weaning him off the morphine today. Looking at at least two more days in hospital. This means I get the peeps!!!!!!! *****! Sobriety is giving me the gift of helping my family. I am so grateful. Special dude takes a clear head. His spirit is sweet and loving. I'll hang on to this for the rest of my days. Hugs all the way around.
