OMG CRAZY 15 hours. Grandson comes down, waking me at 1130pm, said his dad has been hurt and daughter needs help. Trotted down the road in my pjs to find SIL in kitchen floor surrounded by fruit loops......he was sleepwalking and eating. Somehow, he fell. His right foot got caught under the counter, and when he went down, he detached the ligaments from his foot and broke a bone in his leg. He undergoes surgery in two hours to reattach two ligaments to foot. Creepy to see, helped him up from floor and foot just twisted past 45 degree to the left. Called an ambulance, they took him off and I stayed with the kids. Grands glucose numbers were way low, so I spent the night testing every thirty min and administering apple juice. I can't afford to drink, I need to be present to help. Kids are coming here after school, so mom can be at hospital with dad. Grand with autism already distressed. Super granny cape on, here come my peeps.
