It's officially become more like winter and less like the end of of summer here.
It's sad when dogs get too old like that. I recall some years ago I had to help a dog up and escort him to outside hoping that he could make it. I mean practically holding him up sometimes as he tried to muster the strength to walk and straddling him to keep him from falling over. And just laying in his own mess. Daily cleanups - multiple. You could tell he was just wishing it would end.
