I'm no longer an early riser, and much happier. I wake up each morning around 7:30 a.m. without an alarm clock. For 20+ years, I lived far from where I worked, used an alarm to wake up after sleeping only about 6 hours. Each morning, I would cuss in my mind, and impose a depression upon myself due to sleep deprivation. Since I live only 5 miles from where I work now, I'm happy that I have the great options that I do. These have fed into the success of my daily sobriety.
