When DD turned 5, she had a crush on one of the aftercare workers, a cute 17 year old; she invited him to her b'day party at a children's museum and he came! He stayed for a half hour or so and gave her a gift card to a tween/teen boutique called The Hip Chick. I'll never forget that. She was over the moon.
Love B'day week! Even if it's really hot they will jump right in that sweat bucket of a bouncy house and love every minute of it. You'll have lots of drinks to cool them down.
