Good morning everyone. Day 15.
I did not sleep well and woke up with a headache, but it was still nothing like my hangovers. I do not miss the pain and regret after another day of drinking.
It is so nice to have at least some of my self respect back.
Interesting comments about alcohol in the media. I visit another forum where part of the conversation often involves drinking (by people who are able to moderate, for the most part.) I have started to think it might be best for me to avoid that forum, or at least reduce my visits for a while while I focus on my recovery.
