Meditated/vegged out on the bus home, had a brief lie-down with Pandora music when I got home, then a small dinner and went to an AA meeting. That was a good thing to have done.
This weekend I'll be playing with computer audio and maybe some visual art projects.
Also upgrading my bike to a U-lock that I can actually open (old lock has become stubborn) and wrapping my handlebars with cork tape to refurbish the deteriorating handlebar grips. The little upgrades make me happy.
Recently reading the little Shambala paperback "Teachings of the Buddha", edited by Jack Kornfield. Glad that I picked that up. It reminds me of directions that I want to develop toward and areas of my behavior and mental habits that need improving.
Gilmer, sorry to hear about your Dad. Sounds like you have found some good caretakers for him.
I so enjoyed this post. Glad you are with us.
