Good morning!
Happy Father's Day, fathers!

Back in the northeast from the Keys.
I miss the scorching sun, humidity and
outrageous fishing down there.
Did I mention the outrageous fishing? Serious stuff.
Fished all my life here. Bass, pike, perch, trout, pickerel,
occasional musky, c'mon. Ice fishing? HAHA.
Best part about that was drying off by the wood stove.
Fly fishing for smallies and native brookies? Whoopee!
Had more fun feeding my oscars with goldfish.
Actually, I've enjoyed reeling in monster carp
at a local river on light tackle. Fight like heck.

After last winter, I've had enough snow and cold
in my bones. Summer here usually lasts 2 weeks.
Summer there is most of the year.
Autumn? Couple weeks here.
Spring? Heat, AC, heat, AC, repeat.
I'll take summer. Less clothes. More sunscreen.
No thinsulate bib, parka, mad bomber hat, gore-tex boots,
face mask, gloves, nope. Well, maybe for venison season.

Next thing ya' know it's the "holiday" season.
Walmart and the like are already putting out suspiciously
large amounts of bagged candy. Hmmmm. It's not even July.
OK. Sorry. I didn't mean to offend any skiers.
Rant over. Lunar has landed. Whew.
Now for the serious stuff:

Mesa, Happy Anniversary!
saoutchik, Webers!, NICE! I had a Holley 650 double pumper
on a '69 vette. The trick was dialing in the right throttle cams
and power valve. What are you putting them on?
Della, Finger Lakes, eh? I've got a place in Oneonta.
Actually October can be spectacular there.
Ruby, I didn't see any flamingos, but there were beautiful
green iguanas everywhere. Hope your party was a grand slam.
Tetra, Ruby is right about the left. (arm)
learningagain, my dad used to get poison ivy after golfing.
He swore that by washing with a bar of octagon soap, it would heal.
Behan, sorry you burnt your wings, nice 4x4 in that avatar!
I could use one of them pups.
Conquest, I'm not a father, but I'd take an industrial garage fan
anyday over cologne. Your dad's a lucky one!
Brain, sounds like you have quite the victory garden
in motion. Any zucchini? Scotch bonnet peppers?
I can keep going, but this post is waayyy too long already.
Have a fantastic day, all!
