The correct way is to always weight yourself at the same time at the same place, first thing after waking up in the morning and before you consume any food or water. Anything short of that, you are fooling yourself.
It makes sense to do it that way, and then I can also drink water during the workout. Thank you for the helpful suggestion. And now that I am going to be able to drink water during the workout, I may be able to work out longer.
