Welcome to SR, fejjh. I am glad that you are here with us. I drank approximately the same amount as you did, for about the same length of time as you did, and quit at about the same age as you. That was 20 months ago. I quit on the day that I found SR, and I haven't had a drink since then.
I tell you this only so that you know that quitting is possible, even after drinking as much and for as long as you (we) have. And life is much, much better on this side of the bottle.
