I truly always trust my intuition, but I don't always trust my analysis of my gut feel, if that makes sense. I had a really, really negative sense about one of my son's soccer coaches. I just felt that he was a perpetrator. I never, ever let my son be alone with him without another adult present. Other parents thought I was being crazy. He was a winning, skilled coach, worked for the public school system, etc. Guess who showed up on the evening news in a mug shot for child molestation a couple of years later??
