Yes, and I think "gut feelings" should always be examined, but they aren't infallible.

Your feeling that something was "wrong" before learning someone you knew had died is more like a "psychic phenomenon" proposition--chances are (IMO) that was simply coincidence.

I do think that as we recover we can be more properly attuned to other people.
