Chez kewl on you having a Theremin! This former Ham Radio Geek has some Schematics to build one. Part of the 'show' aspect would be to build it into an Console Radio Chassis, such that you could see the glowing Vacuum Tubes.

Fellow and Wannabe Desert Rats can get a wonderful dose of All Things Desert in this Film about Gram Parson's final wishes. This Vet of The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers ODed on Morphine and Alcohol in a Joshua Tree Motel at age 26. However, the Movie is wryly funny, and skips all that. Highly recommended!
