I think it's more the forum effect than the alcoholic-addict effect, because in AA anyway there are pretty many extraverts. It does seem like the extraverted alcoholic has a different experience and a different way of recovery than the introvert. I don't know about the other traits. Myers-Briggs traits aren't really well validated, except introversion/extraversion is very stable.
