Like many people on here, I have had my share of Day 1's and recovery from a drink that I shouldnt have had a day before.
But you know what, Day 1 is ok, it means you are giving yourself another chance to stop drinking. Day 1 should not be seen as a failed attempt, but a celebration that you have not given up hope that you can stop drinking.
So here to all you Day 1 folk out there, here a big round of applause for trying again to get and stay sober.
I have been sober for a week now and it feels so good to be living life free.
