Hey JustTrogdor, nice job! From reading your post, it seems clear that you're very serious about your goal to stop. IE: Joining the gym...

I think you'll find that exercise will make things much easier to keep to your goal. You'll sleep better and in time, you'll begin to see the benefits of both abstaining from the booze as well as the fitness of your exercises. You will have, in essence, created a lifestyle where alcohol does not belong.
