anonymity has 2 things in AA
inside AA and outside AA
we are never to tell anyone outside AA
but inside AA it is different as you found out.
now,at a open meeting,how did they know you are a alcoholic?Or maybe they thought you might be there because you know someone with a drinking problem.
sounds like a resentment
