My condolensces, unfortunately i'm all too familiar with that horribly un-easy feeling of realizing there suddenly won't be anymore checks coming........ that's the type of stuff that keeps you up at night. It sucks
No doubt a common story in today's terrible economy.
i am going to second what everyone else is saying and recommend you go sign up/start drawing EVERYTHING you can get or qualify for immediately....... UI, SSI, SSD, food stamps, etc. No reason to wait on any of that, "waiting" just means you are leaving money on the table. There's no "pride" in a situation like this, remember that! You gotta do what u gotta do to survive!
Best of luck with your job search.......... and remember it's "survival mode" until something else comes along, get as much government cheese as you can qualify for!
