I had the same feeling early in my recovery. I had relied on alcohol to get me through, & used it to alter my mood for many years. When I stopped it took awhile to adjust to dealing with reality. It's so much better being clear headed - but it does take some time to make the adjustment. It's normal & quite common.

I agree that you should check with your doctor if things don't begin to look up.
