Bob im so sorry to hear about your job, I found myself in the same position, Im 58 and will be starting a new job in 3 weeks time, I had real doubts about my age and who would want an old dear like me, but we have a lot to offer. I got help doing my cv and went on a day course, Well I was sent by the job centre, most cvs are now checked by computers, so my tip is to put on your cv any key words that are on the job description because the computer programme will pick out you may be a good match.set aside time each day to job search even weekends, get dressed im afraid I had real slobby days and didnt go out much and ended up depressed so don't do what I did lol
Ive lost count my af days think its 91, my av now calmed down and is not screaming at me, alls well in my world x
