Hi everyone. I am new here. I hope I am in the right place. I joined this forum because I have an out of state family member that I love very much who I just found out is an alcoholic and I was hoping to find info on how I can help them and also to help myself cope with this and the feelings of helplessness and fear for my loved one. I have been down this road before with a friend in the past and I ended up walking away and feel regrets that I was not strong enough to help. I am perusing this site and it's a wonderful resource. Thanks.
